The practice offers the following clinics:
Health Visitors can be contacted by telephone on 01827 259472.
District Nurses provide a service to visit you at home if you are housebound or chronically sick. They are no longer based in Laurel House but can be contacted on 0300 124 0347.
We also have a practice phlebotomist who is available each weekday morning by appointment at Laurel House Surgery. (Please check with reception)
Please call between 2.30pm and 5.00pm to enquire about your test results as our reception staff will have more time to deal with your request between these times.
Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
If you are unsure as to whether you are able to access a patient's records please contact the surgery or fill in our access to medical records document available at reception.
Over 16's will be required to request their own results.
It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if your are advised to do so.
Please note it can take up to 7 days to receive results.
Urine & Stool Samples
When dropping off a sample please ensure you have the necessary documentation provided by a clinician or the receptionist will ask you to complete a patient form. The Sample cannot be processed without.
If the doctor has requested that you bring a urine specimen or stool sample for testing, please follow the simple guidelines.
